How to Have a Positive Relationship With the Natural Force of Gravity
Step 1 - Conscious Body Flow (CBF)
CBF is the first step and the foundation of our three-step program.
For a person to optimally use their body to do any activity, they must know how to control their body parts before engaging in the activity itself.
By applying CBF you will be able to correct your form consciously, which will safely get your body to move properly.
Benefits: injury prevention, progressively improved self-awareness of the body parts synergy, fewer body aches, lifetime usage, lightness, anti-aging, improved coordination, and enhanced body abilities.
How to do it:
Press your heels down
Lift your core up
Press your shoulders down
Lift your chest up
Like a conveyer belt connect all into a circular motion
Up along the front of your body and
Down along the back of your body
You can start by visualizing it.
Our minds have the power to move body parts; we might not be conscious of it. The conscious body flow is a supporting system that helps you to move body parts from acting up involuntarily to you consciously controlling them. Your body will give you the benefit signals, which feel good and encourage you to engage into more types of movement, expanding possibilities of new activities.
Conscious Body Flow is a new concept that requires practice to learn and master.
If you don't use it, you lose it!
When to use CBF?
standing, sitting, practicing any sports activity.
Step 3 - Body connection exercises
Integrating all your body parts into your body.
“Inspired by my personal experiences and the measurable results I got through sports practices and competitions, my interest was sparked to study further how the body and its parts integration worked (isolation of body parts vs integration of body parts).
‘The whole is greater than the sum of the parts’ Aristotle
I could feel it !
To validate my discovery, I began researching different disciplines related to the human body. Anthropology, current anatomy discoveries, natural tendencies of the human body, and my personal observation of the young humans, seniors, and professional athletes at my private practice.
The results are remarkable and measurable:
Guiding young bodies to a better development
Directing the general population to maintain good health.
Enhancing athleticism of aspiring athletes.
Serving as a support system for the body’s aging process.”
Posture - The Earth Element
Whether we like it or not, gravity will always have a great impact on our lives. There is no perfect still posture, because the body needs movement to stay loose. The goal is to practice for all body parts to engage, working together to lift the body up for any activity. The CBF is a great mental tool to direct the parts in a correct manner.
Flexibility - The Water Element
Regardless of our appearance, our body is mostly made out of water, more so at an early age. Aging is a process of dehydration of the body. Hydration is essential to our survival, but drinking water is not enough. Practicing flexibility exercises helps to bring fluids and nutrients to body parts in need. When practicing flexibility exercises, it is important to have proper posture (alignment of the body parts), so you can eliminate stress points and have an overall feeling of flow in your body.
Balance - The Air Element
Balance is a learned skill. Nobody is born with innate coordination.
Have you ever seen a newborn baby crawl up to its mother and start feeding on its own?
We need to see and practice the same movement thousands of times to be able to get it. Once you get it, your body will become lighter, faster, and more durable. Your balance becomes exponentially better when integrated with posture and flexibility. Like posture and flexibility, balance needs to be challenged on a daily basis to be able to be maintained and improved.
Agility - The Fire Element
It is an unconscious process that allows the natural energy of the body to flow quickly while your mind is at ease. Typing, playing musical Instruments, juggling, and running agility drills are examples of how we can train the body to integrate its parts quickly, in a coordinated manner.
Our response mechanisms become dormant when they are not stimulated, but when we do stimulate them with proper alignment, fluid range of motion, and coordination of all body parts, agility becomes a powerful tool that enables your inner athlete to come out.
