Chapter 1 - The First Precept: Everything is Energy Mr. Chalmers abruptly threw his fists down on the desk and yelled, “Everything is moving, shifting, and vibrating because EVERYTHING is energy!” He picked up a pen and brandished it at the roomful of stunned 13-year-olds staring up at him. “This is not what it appears to be. It’s moving energy!” 8th Grade Chemistry was my very first introduction to the science of how the world operates beneath the surface and in the spaces that are invisible to the human eye. I can’t remember much of middle school or high school -- it’s all just beyond the reach of my conscious mind and it’s somewhere on the edges of my memory but what’s wild is that out of my entire high school career, that image of Mr. Chalmers standing there with his pen, remains clear and bright as day. That memory never left me and over the years, it’s resurfaced again and again. For the longest time, I didn’t know why but I do now. The Universe knew that my path was to understand how to work with energy and teach it to the world, decades before I did. I despised science but that lesson with Mr. Chalmers embedded in my subconscious and kept showing up in other areas of my life. From my grandmother being obsessed with things like biorhythms and spirituality that reached far beyond my Catholic upbringing, to believing my stuffed animals were alive and having full conversations with them since I was 5, right through to finding a coach training program that was 100% based on consciousness principles and energy leadership. As I look back and connect the dots, I can see that deep down I somehow knew I was put on this earth to teach and to share about energy, about consciousness and about the infinite nature of our true power, I didn’t realize the depth of this calling until just recently but it’s the message and movement that I am destined to live and breathe. I’m here to share the truth with Metaconscious Entrepreneurs everywhere, the geniuses, the paradigm shifters, the ones who are hiding in plain sight. They’re loving leaders, game-changing innovators and master manifestors. They are change agents who have a crucial mission on our planet right now -- old souls, who are ready to return to our power and our deep knowing and make no mistake -- they’re here to shake things up and I count myself as one among them! I see us being part of the next evolution in consciousness and so we are witnessing the tipping point of human evolution on earth. The entire world is about to shift from a predominantly catabolic state where we’re at a negative, destructive energetic state, to a predominantly anabolic state where we’re at a positive, constructive energetic state. This is a tiny, one degree tilt that will quantum leap humankind and put us light years ahead of where we are now in every possible way. Given that everything is energy, it makes perfect sense that energy itself is where this evolution begins. It’s the entry point to consciousness and it’s the entry point to the Field of Infinite Creation so let’s look at what energy actually IS.
