You’re Not Alone Whatever is happening with you I promise it’s not new No matter the situation Someone else has gone through it too Everyone has problems I know that to be a fact The question is what to do How do you react Everyone has trials and tribulations They go through ups and downs Today can be a tough one But tomorrow it can all turn around I know that life can be scary When it seems that troubles are everywhere Love has almost vanished And it seems that there is no one around that cares God is a problem solver Just go to Him in prayer Problems come and go Nothing lasts forever Try reaching out to God He’s the one that can make it better You must have faith in God That faith must be your own God will always be there Just know you’re not alone Turn Your Life Around I’d be the first to say that life isn’t fair Sometimes we take on more than we can bear Life really isn’t all that complicated Most times it’s what me make it Optimism and positivity are usually nowhere around So, pessimism and negativity keep us down When we fail, we seem so astonished We tend to blame others for what we don’t accomplish Lots of times we’re overtaken by fear Scared to death of things that’s usually not there We plan to fail when we fail to plan A simple phrase that’s hard to understand We need some drive and motivation Without it we’ll be stuck in the same situation We’re the cause behind our self-destruction We steady complain but doing nothing Somewhere something must change Or else the outcome will remain the same First of all, stop trying to be the boss If God is not # 1 in your life Then my friend you’ve already lost You must have faith in what you cannot see If you don’t believe, it cannot be If you want the good apple Go out on the limb God will never let you down Put your trust in Him It’s not as crazy as it may sound Take a chance on God Watch Him turn your life around Welcome to My World Welcome to my world where no 2 days are the same Just to make it through the day is my only aim I try to plan for the future but that’s quite a task Each day brings something different and life changes in a flash Welcome to my world where chaos seems to rule Where money, sex, and drugs are what makes a person cool I seem to drift in that direction so I can be accepted Believing in God and having faith is too many times neglected Welcome to my world where the Devil is in charge Trying to be an honest person is extremely hard I think I can see the end and it’s not a pretty sight A world where every day is a struggle and a fight Welcome to my world where you are competing just to win Nothing I do is righteous, everything is a sin Survival is the key, by any means necessary Nighttime is atrocious, the daytime is extra scary Welcome to my world where there is evil all around Everyone is in an uproar and no one is toning down Welcome to my world I know it’s hard to believe The door to leave is wide open I just don’t want to leave

About the Author
Jeffrey B. Hunter was born in Bronx, NY. He grew up in Elloree, SC. He has been writing poetry for well over 40 years. He is a U.S, Navy veteran. He is also a recovering addict and alcoholic who has suffered sexual abuse as well as dealt with P.T.S.D. , bi-polar, and other mental issues. He wrote this book to allow others to see that it is possible to recover from traumatic situations in life and to be able to go on and live a productive life. Most importantly he wants his audience to know that he has walked in many of their shoes and knows some of their pain as well as their triumphs. He is no doubt a success story with a great deal of inspiration, experience, strength, and hope to share with others that are still searching for some answers as well as those that have found an answer.
