Introduction
As we move forwards in the 21st century, it becomes even more apparent that the vibration of the human species is changing from the very logical, structured, conformed and controlled masculine energy to the open, creative, passionate, intuitive, and free-thinking feminine energy. The importance of the left and right brain balance becomes essential to living a more fulfilled and joyful life. We experience what we are. We mirror what we have become, and we manifest what we subconsciously hold as reality in our mind's eye. We need to give in to the feminine energy of change, movement, and flow, while keeping our foot very much in the present. This 3d dimension we live in has taught us structure and format in all parts of our life, which is essential to the running of our everyday timelines and routines. The right brain puts the intuitive flow and mermaid energy within the body and mind, the flow inside the structure, and with that energy there is so much more room for change. There is space to open to the unexpected thrills and movement of life to live our creative passions.
After opening and letting the universe move me forward, I came upon a whole balanced movement to help the vibrational shift within mind and body through an inner and outer holistic and physical balancing system.
Please let me explain.
The Chakras
The word 'Chakra' is an ancient, sacred Sanskrit word that describes the powerful spinning vortices that reside within the inner and astral body, which can physically and symbolically affect the person's energy field and life as they know it.
There are hundreds of Chakras within the human body, but traditional Yoga and holistic medicine tend to focus on seven main ones and the case of animals eight main ones.
When all seven chakras are open, an individual may experience what we describe as a 'Kundalini awakening' within the body. Those who have experienced a 'Kundalini awakening' often describe a nirvana feeling of stillness and peace, feeling grounded in their present state of reality yet connected to their higher selves and the all-knowing, ocean of infinite love. This is where they can understand their true, infinite potential. I don't believe it stops there, and a further realization can be experienced when awakening another powerful chakra. A chakra that connects you to many aspects of yourself, living many experiences in different dimensions. Programs as such to be tapped into and brought within your current reality. We will touch on this 8th Chakra throughout this book. Eventually, I do believe it will teach us so much more to live our true uniqueness and potential and learn the Universe's secrets. This other Chakra I feel, is the black and white combined. A chakra that I sometimes see as the black Chakra, as only when you embrace the darkness, can you find your truth. For so long, people have been programmed to believe that black or darkness is somehow something to be afraid of or walk away from and maybe never face. Still, it is that darkness that will lead people to the truth, their uniqueness, and the other realms and potentials of human existence. When you walk into the darkness, you walk into unlimited possibilities of expressions of yourself. The light will then balance your truth to your higher calling in your present state of being, in your present dimension.
All the powerhouses can also help us understand each other and ourselves, why we do, and choose what we do and why we may hold onto fear of moving forwards.
We will be focusing on the seven primary human Chakra in this book and touching on an eight. We will look at their identity, personality, and character. We will also learn about how they show up in an individual's energy field and then manifest into their personalities and lives. We will also learn how to read our own and other people's chakras and intuitively sense why we may have imbalances in those areas.
My Experience with Chakra Balancing
After many years of teaching Yoga, running wellbeing workshops, and Retreats, I realized how important it was to continuously monitor my Chakras ever-changing influence on my body and life. My clients often come to me with many different ailments and injuries or dis-eases of the body and mind, and one of the first things I like to do with them is to understand the root of the disease for that, I read their Chakra. It gives me a deeper understanding of their inner state and why certain unwanted situations manifest outward into their physical realm. The importance of Chakra Balancing became more apparent to me as my practice and teaching of Yoga moved from not just the physical postures but into a more spiritual understanding of the connection to the higher source. As my workshops grew and adapted into more speaking platforms, it seemed a natural transition to flow into the world of Chakra Balancing. The current state of the Chakras need to be understood to move away from the stagnant and dead energy holding us back. I helped my clients become aware of how difficult it was to be in a good state of mind and body when one or more of the Chakra's were blocked, overactive or underactive.
To understand the underlining workings of the Chakra, their symbolic meanings, and how they can affect what we give out to the world is essential if we are looking to find balance within our daily lives. When knowing which Chakras are blocked and understanding how they affect how we live our life, what we feel, and how we act, we are suddenly made aware of our own insecurity, self-doubts and fears. It becomes even more important to nurture the Chakras and keep them in balance constantly.
An example from my Chakra journey
While living an extremely busy life, single-handedly looking after my son and running a successful business and running a home, I knew I was spreading myself thin and using every ounce of fuel within my body and mind to keep afloat and life running smoothly. I would often run Chakra workshops and weekend retreats for my clients, and during 'readings', it would show that my Chakras were all active and open, but I didn't feel entirely right within myself. I wasn't living the life I wanted, and by that, I don't mean in a material way, such as owning particular possessions, traveling etc. but I mean by being who I truly am and being true to myself. Trying to figure out where I fitted into what I sometimes saw as a heavily, vain, critical and "dare I say it" fake society, I felt completely deflated and with absolutely no desire to compete with the type of people that continue to regurgitate spiritually when they have absolutely no concept, understanding and most importantly, experience of spirituality or enlightenment themselves. I took some time out and went on holiday with my son to regroup and ask the Universe to help me find answers to lead me to a sense of peace from within for my souls benefit and not for a fake happiness based on a material fake reality. That is where I had an epiphany. I discovered so much over the next few weeks, but in this book, I will talk about what I realized in relation to the Chakras. I could not remember the last time I had a good belly laugh, without any worries, restrictions, or fear in my mind, and that made me look deep within myself for answers. My meditation practice reflected that search and I realized through connecting to my Solar Plexus and heart chakra that although they were open, they were emitting the wrong kinds of feelings.
