About the Book

This book tells of the adventure of a group of rebels fighting corruption beyond our planet. It focuses on the hard decisions that the rebel leader, Reg Kumar-Blake, had to take to keep the group of allies strong and the rogues at bay to maintain a peaceful society while fighting his own inner battles. The main question was how this mentally broken, exhausted human could keep up the courage of the allies without unnecessary violence. After a long escapade of gunrunning, a third force seems to want to help Blake’s allies, giving them a spaceship called the Phoenix. Who are they? Is anyone to be trusted, including the robots and computers, let alone his crew? Blake wrangles with heart-versus-head thinking. Taking new help was a always a risk. However, for this mission, a change of heart might be necessary to rise the Phoenix up from the ashes of all the previous turmoil. It’s an adventure of unusual twists and turns with a dash of humor.

About the Author

Sara L. Sen has been a fan of British 1970’s TV since she was 8 years old. Born and raised in England, she particularly enjoyed the creative work of Terry Nation and Brian Clemens, which had humour mixed with drama. Medical laboratory research and her PhD was her career; subjects included Medicinal Chemistry, Medical Biochemistry, and Psychophysiology. Finding herself between two social classes, and two cultures and brought up by a male single parent, which was not the social norm, while happily working in a male-dominated occupation, she became interested in how we use our mind, brain and emotions to create a peaceful life, defeating social differences. She decided to express herself in lighter fiction for all ages, rather than academic publication, thinking that this would be a positive and novel way to reach out to people of all backgrounds. Sara now resides in BC, Canada mostly doing Health Consulting, focusing on stress and illness.
