About the Author

Back in the 1950’s, after her parents had birthed 2 girls, they just knew the next one would be a boy and planned on naming him after the father…. Theodore Roosevelt Yeldell. As it turned out, the next one was again another girl. The parents went on and named their new baby girl the closest name to the father they could come up with, which was………Theodora Rosita Yeldell. Her father was a Minister and Theodora grew up close to her father. She learned the fear of God and developed a strong love for God which comes through in the expressions of her writing. She feels so blessed and grateful to be a lifetime member of The United House of Prayer for All People® which she attributes to her possessing good moral values and where she goes to worship and to get a Peace of Mind during trying times. Theodora Mays is a very gifted Writer. Her writing juices first stirred up in her in the 3rd Grade when the teacher had the class to pick a title from a list of topics and write a poem about it. Theodora choose the topic….”Oh Summer is a fun time”. She got an A on her work (This, her first poem is also included in this book). The assignment was fun to her and her love for words and rhyme took off from that point to the publishing of this book today! For years she was paralyzed in her mind by a fear a sibling unknowingly put in her head, “Don’t let no one steal your work”. For years and years Theodora was afraid to send her work off to a publishing company. I feel you will see throughout the pages of this book how the world is blessed that she finally got a change of mind and she broke loose of that fear and submitted her years of work for publication which she’s appropriately titled…. “Read my Mind…..See my thoughts”
