Book One ~ Creating the Unicorns Garden 1 The beginning of a special project WEAVING HER BAREFOOT WAY between giant trees Brenna felt touched by the elegance of beauty. “Bringing forth freedom and purity, reveal your magick within,” said the voice of her elemental spirit guide, the unicorn. She walked under an umbrella of branches and hugged a tree. It felt really good – it always felt good to hug a tree. Brenna felt grateful to be in this big, beautiful park in the middle of the city. It offered a green and peaceful sanctuary for city dwellers. Lovers lay in the grass, entwined, timeless. A group of people were hanging out by the river and every now and then glanced in her direction. The river was very soothing. “Life will all unfold as it should,” said the unicorn’s voice in her heart. Brenna felt the romance of these gardens very strongly and waves of bliss flowed through her heart and body. Her being was expanding. She buried her nose in some fuzzy flowers and breathed in the fragrance. Pink flowers were everywhere, giving a quality of softness and representing the femininity of Mother Earth. The energy was pulsating. The big old trees had knobs extending up their sides like ladders. “Come up into our branches and we’ll tickle you with our leaves,” they said, rustling their leaves with the gentle breeze. She imagined what that would feel like and oooooh it was lovely. Brenna knew she had a mission here on Earth. As a little girl she’d enjoyed nature and animals and being happy. As an adult she’d felt drawn to travel and connect with the beauty of the natural world and learn about conservation, community and the extraordinary worlds of spirituality. Now she was realising how the nourishment of these experiences were integrating so she could fulfil her life purpose. She whispered her longing to contribute to the evolution of humanity and the ascension of planet Earth. “My true heart’s desire is to create a big, beautiful garden, with food and flowers and native plants, with birds and all the peace and love in my heart. A place where magick can abide, a place where people are connected, connected to the Source of All That Is, connected to the infinite love from which we are all born.” She felt honoured and excited. She had no idea how it was going to happen. This blend of the certain and the unknown helped her grow in trust and patience. Brenna made a prayer inside her mind. She breathed in deeply then let the air go and began in a quiet voice. “Great Spirit, generous provider, may I please have what’s needed for me to be successful in my mission. May I please buy land, may I please have emotional and physical support, may I be strong in walking this path and may I speak clearly the truth and trust in my heart.” She again breathed deeply. She knew her prayer had been heard. Knowing what she wanted was the key to manifesting her desires. Knowing herself through conscious awareness she could see inside herself and the reflection in the outer world. Brenna continued wandering around the park. A song started in her throat: Butterfly Woman, floating in the breeze, Butterfly Woman, I admire your ease. Butterfly Woman, you’re in my dreams of flowers, blossoms and golden light beams. Magick mirror of transformation, please bring me a sign of affirmation. She twirled around with her arms out like a butterfly’s wings and drifted gracefully around the flowerbeds, and she felt that the energy within her and the environment had shifted. Sensing the presence of the towering trees Brenna reminded herself to ground her feelings. The trees would always be pillars of love, light and grounding strength for her. They would always connect her with the Earth and the heavens, and as the Butterfly Woman, she would travel with ease and grace. Exhaling slowly, Brenna continued walking. She saw some charming flowers with brown fuzzy bodies and yellow skirt petals. There are faeries here, Brenna smiled to herself. She glanced up to see unicorns dancing across the lawn. She watched them toss their manes and felt the faeries playing around her. Brenna connected with the Earth energy coming up through her feet and established herself in the physical world again. She walked along the path that led to her parked car. It was important to be fully in her body before she started driving. An elderly man came walking past her and they exchanged smiles, their eyes sparkling with magick.
