Healing Tears

I walked from my bedroom down the hallway into the dining room where I saw John standing with a shotgun in his hands. I screamed, “What the hell are you doing?” I could see the all too familiar look in his eyes. Evil. “I’m here to take back my kids and my house,” was all that he said. John then ordered me back to my bedroom and told me to stay there. I refused to move and he grabbed my arm and forced me to the room. Upon throwing me to the floor, he shut the door as he shouted, “Stay in there!” I immediately grabbed the phone on my nightstand to dial 911 but the phone line was dead. I opened the door and headed back down the hallway toward the dining room. John was digging around in my purse that was on the counter. I asked him what he was looking for. As I approached him, he put something in his back pants pocket. I struggled briefly with him and felt the shotgun shells in his front shirt pocket and something rectangular in his back pants pocket. John then shoved me aside and I grabbed for my purse to retrieve my cellular phone. I then realized the phone was what John took from my purse and slipped into his back pocket. I followed him down the hallway and into my daughter’s room where he was standing. John was aiming the shotgun in her face and I grabbed hold of the shotgun and began pleading for her life. “John, please don’t kill my baby!” I continued pleading for her life as he dragged me back into my bedroom and threw me to the floor again.
