About the Book

My hope is to inspire each soul who reads these poems to feel the spark of their own divinity and grace. This book is a small part of my spirit that wants to share with yours. My writing comes from my own struggle with life, love, and recovery from alcoholism one day at a time. Here I give a voice to my disease, and through this process, I have fallen in love with me, with you, and with a flower. If you struggle with your life, your loves, and any issues you can’t stop, please take a moment and open these pages. They were written for you.

About the Author

Butterfly was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. By the time she was twelve, Butterfly was drinking, and this went on until February 14, 2012. This is the day the caterpillar became a butterfly. Join her on this journey from addiction to sobriety, from despair to delight. If Butterfly can change from fear to love, so can you.
