About the Author
At age 16 I started managing my own household and kitchen. I was thrilled to start my own studies, natural medicine and whole foods cooking. Learning about our most healthy life-giving foods, having been replaced with the "refinements"! wheat, rice, sugar and oils. Seeing the results on our health and bodies and wanting to do something about this myself and show others, I started having dinner parties with my friends to try new recipes.
I worked with Alfie, a French chef at Alfie's Wayside Country Inn, Dundee, Oregon, for a few years.
I worked for Gary Beckly at the Ross Island Grocery and Health Food Store in Portland, Oregon for a few years, preparing all the fresh foods daily.
I have been working on my own cookbook, watching it evolve with new experiences in tastes and new medical research being available. I think it is so valuable to us in these changing times to eat only of the tree of life as we enter the new era together for we are the children of the garden of the new earth.
I am an Esthetician now for 25 years in Portland, Oregon. I love the nurturing environment of the spa salon and find great fulfillment in sharing healing energies, information and progress reports in the space I created.
