Perspective
I had shared in the introduction that I knew what love was before coming to this earthly existence. Actually, we all know what love is but when we are born we somehow create a veil or a fog to cloud up our thinking so that we cannot grasp it. Love can somehow feel like a separate part of our self when we are living in our society. Because we have an ego, we tend to allow the ego to take over our perception of this illusion called life. By doing this, we start to experience not having love in our life. As long as we have an ego in our consciousness then we do not understand love. Ironically, it is impossible to separate from love since all that exists is love. What we have done is create a perception so that we think we don’t know love or don’t understand love. Of course as we continue from childhood to adulthood, we get programmed to think that we need something like “love” and we can only get this by looking outside of ourselves. We think that someone else is going to fill our hearts with love. We also get bombarded constantly with the messages within our society of things and people that we must have or need in order to fulfill us. In our existence it is suggested to us constantly that we should think that we must look a certain way or act in a particular fashion in order to receive love. This cannot be farther from the truth. We were meant to love ourselves first.
In this lifetime, we need to really learn to love ourselves and not just the physical being but also the totality of all that we are which also has been referred to as the “I AM” presence of our being. This includes the totality of our consciousness including our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. When we all begin to embrace who we are and love ourselves in totality, we began to experience a feeling of wholeness along with a peaceful feeling within. It actually becomes a complete knowingness and a true understanding that we are all perfect as we are in this very moment.
A few weeks after my father passed away, he came to me in the dream state or as I like to say “another realm” and he said something to me that impacted my life forever. He asked me to share this with everyone that I love. In the other dimension or other realm, he shared that he was reviewing his life on earth. I had told him that he looked great and we went walking over a kind of golf course of rolling hills. He loved golf. We then went to a beautiful shimmering water area and we went in the water. He wanted to lie on a float. I told him that he did not need a float anymore since he can walk again and that there is no more cancer and he said; “I know that but I am still trying to get used to the idea that I don’t have the cancer anymore.” He said that he needed to adjust to the frequency of what he was experiencing. I then asked him if I was the only one that has visited him and he said “heck no, but you are the only one that will remember this information I need to share this with you so you can pass it on to everyone”. He shared: “sweetheart, I realize I could have done so much more in this lifetime. I did some really good things in this lifetime but I could have done better in other areas. I just want you to share this information with as many people you know”. He went on to say, “Please remember that this lifetime is not a game, it is homework. I want you to tell everyone that this life is not playtime; it is a time to grow and learn. Don’t waste it away and be conscious of every decision you make.” I woke up from that reality and was touched by his sincerity and love. I knew I needed to share this with as many people as possible so that they will hear his message.
This world is but a fraction of our reality. Every night when we go to sleep, we go to other dimensions. Sometimes, we wake up and remember what we call “dreams”. In reality, it is actually another dimension or realm that a part of us remembers. There are basically several types of “dreams”. These consist of other realms of existence, parallel realities, past lives or imagination along with symbolism that may have a message. There are times when our dreams are distorted and don’t make sense to us. Often times it is because the information is too much for us to handle and it has to be distributed in symbols in order for us to grasp what message our higher self is trying to relay. You may ask “why”? It is because our egos get in the way. The ego is what separates us from who we truly are. Our ego gives us our boundaries of what we can do or not do. It is our linear process of thinking and the ego tries to create an image of what we think we should be and with that we create our boundaries and limitations.
The ego will have you search for happiness outside of yourself. Let’s be very clear, there is no happiness outside of you. You may feel temporary happiness with a temporary situation, person, place, or thing, but true, deeply balanced joy comes from within. You are your universe! No one and nothing can bring you closer to you. It can only reflect like a mirror of who you are. Once you understand that all happiness and peace lie within you then you will begin to grasp the true meaning of enlightenment.
One cannot have an inflated ego and truly love oneself. It is an oxymoron. Those with a large ego struggle with insecurity and not feeling worthy so they have to project out to others what they want them to believe. To truly love oneself, humility is present. To love your self is to see the wholeness, beauty or god/goddess within while also seeing the wholeness, beauty or god/goddess of everyone. No one is better than another, we may have certain gifts on this dimension that we have created but it does not mean that we are better. We all came here to experience.
