Portals, from a spiritual perspective, have been getting a bad reputation lately. In horror movies and ghost-related TV shows, they're usually blamed for undesirable things that happen to unsuspecting people. We're told that "the unnatural," "demons," and "dark forces" can enter our world through portals if someone mistakenly "opens the door" and lets them in.
But I believe portals are, more often than not, wellsprings of spiritual nourishment intended for our growth. We are the keys that unlock portals when we become aligned with them. That is to say, when a portal has something positive to offer and we're willing to accept it, we are aligned, enabling a transmission to take place. Not every portal has something to offer for everyone, but when there's a match, we can either accept what's being offered, gaining something invaluable, or ignore it to our detriment.
For much of my adult life, I chose to ignore.

About the Book
Ways to Navigate follows a spiritual journey that begins after Walter Lacey discovers a portal that changes his life. How he found it and how it altered his perspective is recounted in a collection of true and fictional anecdotes. A heightened sense of awareness unfolds through visions, past lives, and dreams. Walter is aided by a channeler of the Akashic records, a reiki master, hypnotists, and spiritual guides. Ways to Navigate ends with four stories describing very different awakenings. About the Author
A US Air Force “brat” for most of his childhood, Walter Lacey was born in Germany and traveled with his family wherever his father happened to be stationed. Walter graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he studied journalism and English literature. He now lives with his wife, son, and daughter in Massachusetts.
