Christmas was a busy time of year for most, especially for the snowmen and snowwomen of Mount Snow. Mount Snow was a frosty, chilly town covered in thick white snow, on the outskirts of Christmas Forest. At the start of every Christmas, the snowmen and snowwomen of Mount Snow would emerge from the soft, cold snow to begin their jobs for Christmas. After a gusty, leafy autumn had passed, the frosty, frozen winter had arrived and all the snowmen and snowwomen were excited as Christmas was soon to arrive. All the snowmen and snowwomen caught up with one another.
Every snowman and snowwoman had a job to do for Christmas. There were many snowmen and snowwomen of Mount Snow, including the wicked King Snow and the heartless Queen Snow who ruled Mount Snow. King Snow emerged first from the snow, wearing his beloved pointy gold crown. His shiny, gold crown gave him power and authority over all of the snowmen and snowwomen. King Snow used the crown’s power unfairly, bullying all of the snowmen and snowwomen. There were many others that contributed to Mount Snow also, such as Snow Baker, Snow Farmer, Snow Teacher and Snow Librarian. When all the snowmen and snowwomen had finished catching up with one another King Snow loudly announced
‘Snowmen and Snowwomen of Mount Snow! Yet again another welcoming frosty winter is upon us! We all have a job to do for Christmas, but before we begin, let’s journey into Christmas Forest to the vegetable patch to get our carrots for our noses!’
Christmas Forest was a dark, dim thick forest filled with clusters of Christmas trees as far as the eye could see. Down the long, continuous trail of Christmas Forest was the noisy village of the elves, and a little further was the reindeer ranch. Christmas Forest was also the home of numerous animals such as the fox, the rabbit, the moose and the badger. At the start of every Christmas, the snowmen and snowwomen would journey into Christmas Forest to the vegetable patch to pull out the carrots. The snowmen and snowwomen needed the carrots for their noses as the carrots were a very important part of their Christmas attire. All the snowmen and snowwomen of Mount Snow chatted excitedly as they begun travelling far into Christmas Forest.
Snow Librarian eagerly said to the Snow Baker
‘I can’t wait to choose a carrot from the vegetable patch.’
All the snowmen and snowwomen were excited, filled with eager anticipation of choosing a carrot for their nose. The snowmen and snowwomen of Mount Snow finally reached the vegetable patch, but were stunned to see all the carrots were gone. Someone or something had stolen all the carrots. Every snowman and snowwoman was shocked. King Snow was furious at the sight of the carrot less vegetable patch.
‘I demand to know where our carrots are! Who has stolen them?!’
King Snow roared
