Introduction
"Every moment you experience as a human being is an achievement; do not struggle with the notion that you must achieve anything more.” Min
On a hot summer evening in early December 2012, I was presenting the ancient consciousness Min to a large audience on the Gold Coast of Australia. Min ‘arrived’ into my awareness in the usual fashion and delivered a discourse on the importance of human emotions and their expression within an individual’s experience. As always, he then invited members of the audience to ask questions and prompted a young woman to the stage.
“Omaat,” he said. “How can we be of service to you at this time?”
The woman apprehensively asked, “Can I know my purpose in life please Min?”
“What a beautiful question, no other question needs to be asked,” he said.
“Your purpose in life is to have this human experience, and know that we know you do not want to hear what we have just said.” He paused. “And we see the tears flow. What are the tears for, dear one? You do not want to be a human?”
Timidly she replied, “I’m scared I suppose.”
Min confirmed with her, “You are scared to be a human being?”
Becoming very emotional, she nodded her head and murmured, “Hmm.”
Min then prompted the audience by asking, “Who else here is scared to be human?”
A sea of hands went up!
He continued, “It is an honour to be a human being and it is an honour to be here on this planet, and if each of you could feel this in your hearts you would have a different world.” Casting his gaze back upon the young woman he explained, “And the very thing that you just said, that you are scared to be a human being, well, dear one, you just bared your humanness to more than 250 people. We think you are cured now!”
The audience burst out laughing.
“Was that hard? Was it hard being a human just then?”
“No,” she said, and laughed out loud.
The fear that the young woman had so bravely expressed to Min was the all-too-familiar echo of not only my difficult journey towards becoming comfortably human, but also, as she so humbly revealed, the often-hidden human struggle endured by countless millions throughout their lifetime.
A silent revolution like no other we have experienced is now taking place within each of us, and this inner uprising is being generated by our very souls. The soul is both the deeply internal and infinitely eternal aspect of ourselves that is connected with the divine intelligence and boundless life force of All of Existence, and its desire is to awaken us to the immeasurable and more aware facets of ourselves and the world of Spirit. And in anticipation, this great inner presence we call the soul also aches for an intimate relationship with its human form, so we may put an end to our illusion and our human suffering. However, learning to listen and trust this force of invisible grace is another matter altogether and before we can reach that magnificent core presence of love within ourselves, we must first unravel, with understanding, the cause of the pain and illusion that has kept us at such a distance from it.
The world is filled with unspoken love, and the experiences of loneliness, abandonment and confusion that are urging us to find our inner truth and peace are the very same debilitating energies that hinder us from going there. Often it is only in crisis, pain and loss that we call out and pray for a connection to a higher force for comfort and direction, and sometimes in our more poignant moments we can feel an inconsolable longing in our human hearts for something that cannot be reasoned within the mind. However, our deep yearning to connect with the non-physical world and the more intuitive aspects of ourselves is still perceived by many as a ‘mission impossible’. This many a time has been due to the continued beliefs throughout the ages that there is a perfect Spirit world somewhere outside of us; or, sadly, that there is nothing out there at all, which I believe has created an epidemic of spiritual homesickness within the hearts of millions.
A universal force that we call Spirit, and the flow of its celestial brilliance, continually sustains us as souls, just as our physical bodies are sustained by the natural elements of our earth. Our individual souls and the collective consciousness of Spirit are imploring us to drop our habitual self-judgement and lack of self-acceptance and to elevate ourselves inwardly to the ever-present well of infinite love and divine intelligence called the soul.
And how do I know so much about the soul? Even after being graced with the honourable role of representing the power of Spirit upon earth for many years, I eventually arrived at my own spiritual crossroads still feeling frustrated and unfulfilled, seeking something far deeper than my already established connection with the invisible worlds.
It was at these crossroads that a radiant and ancient spark of consciousness – and soon-to-be devoted guide and teacher – named Amun Min burst unexpectedly into my life. At the time of this fated visitation I had no idea what a profound impact he would have on my life and what I had been searching for, which was a loving and intimate relationship with my own soul.
Through sharing my journey it is my intention to not only comfort and inspire you with the reality of your soul’s existence and that of the Spirit world, but to also help you connect to the profound love and guidance that can be found within both. I also wish to assist you to discover a more grounded and practical form of spirituality within your own lives. For without a conscious connection to the invisible forces of divine service that are both within us and around us, we are no more than boats, lost and directionless upon the ocean of humanity, struggling in doubt and often drowning in despair.
It is time to remember that each of you has an ultimate and inevitable destiny to recognise and embrace your own inner light and if you receive nothing else other than the realisation that the immense love of Spirit has never left your soul or your side, then I will consider my intention to assist you as successful.
The saying that truth is often stranger than fiction applies to the first part of this book, which is the account of my unexpected human journey from pain and darkness to the undeniable reality of the Spirit world and that at our very core we are each pure illuminated love.
The second section is dedicated to Amun Min’s and Lord Maitreya’s (more recent) beautiful and powerful teachings, which have been transcribed from direct public transmissions by these magnificent invisible Masters.
All events have been sourced from my memory, journal notes and family and friends and it is with deep gratitude that I thank all of my tumultuous, scary and sacred experiences for they have blessed me with profound understandings and precious inner liberation.
(Amun is the title given to the most powerful deities of ancient Egypt, including Amun Ra, and means ‘King of the Gods’, however I shall be affectionately referring to my invisible mentor and teacher simply as Min. Omaat is the sacred greeting the ancient consciousness Min begins and concludes each transmission with, for through his perception we are all perfect and a blessing beyond measure, and the term Omaat, when explained by Min, embodies the key to our very existence.)
