In His/Her Hands, God/Divine Being Holds the Whole World Day 3: Today I Am Supported Begin and end each day with The Bench. If you are unable to do this day you may read and reflect upon it until you can.You may also use a tea candle as a focal point for meditation prior to beginning, if you are in a place where it is allowed and safe to use. Take several deep breaths to begin and again to end you journey. Give thanks for each day. Sit on the bench, (you can imagine this) gaze at the water in front of you, and envision yourself as the water ebbing and flowing with the tide, until you feel very relaxed and peaceful. Imagine a beautiful loch, Loch Maree, in the highlands of Scotland, where clouds cast their shadows on the water below, and above it picture a large orb engulfing the sun. This shiny orb and the yellow sun within are surrounded in the soft, golden light of early morning and again at dusk. The sun’s reflection in the loch below symbolizes the world’s duality. These reflections are similar to the amniotic waters that engulf us in the womb. We are all one, so what we envision from our mothers might be a beautiful blue-green sea, while in the distance is a canopy of green, swaying trees, and as a gentle breeze caresses us, we watch the tidal waters come and go. This is like the waters we are surrounded by; they cocoon us as we shift and drift, much like the ebbing-and-flowing action of seas and oceans across pristine sandy beaches or surging up and over rocks. From above, our gaze drifts towards the deep waters that reflect the soft light in the night sky. We feel cherished and cradled as we develop in the womb of our mother and God. Close your eyes. What, if anything, do you feel, smell, or hear after reading this passage? Summarize this with a short paragraph or drawing. Then make a positive statement about yourself, such as ‘I feel loved and protected’.

About the Book
Take a Journey of Self-Discovery unlocking the mysteries hidden within each of us. As toddlers, we explore, we imagine, we create, we change and evolve into different aspects of ourselves. Sometimes it is good, and we benefit our friends and the world. Other times it is destructive and limiting. We change, we make choices based on beliefs, science, or teachings. We evolve like earth’s wobble, sometimes to the detriment of ourselves and others. We err on the side of caution, misunderstanding, or misconceptions. We are human, we have faults; our pride, our egos, get in the way of our fulfilling our destiny. We need to remember that we come from the Creator; we are all one. We are connected with each other. We are love. We were born in love. We exist because of love.
About the Author
Nancy O. Stuart had a near-death experience when young, which started her on a spiritual path of self-discovery. While at Oxford University, she had a grant to take photographs, at the Ashmolean Museum, of special antiquarian collections ranging from the Middle East and Greece to England and Scotland. Her special interest was the diaries of John Evans relating to his finds as an antiquarian. Bronze Age Irish horns and standing stones both in England and Scotland, along with a model of Skara Brae, sparked her interest in Celtic shamanism and the principles of working with trees, elementals, and angelic realms often depicted in their art. Now living in the Highlands of Scotland with her two dogs and cats, she takes photos while walking in woods, on sandy beaches, and at various archaeological sites.
