Reading to her amazing son at bedtime gave Suzanne R. DeMink a sense of what types of stories children like to enjoy, and also what kinds of stories she wished her child to learn. Stories about universal values always made for interesting and loving family discussions and ended each day on a unique, positive, warm-fuzzy note.
The author and her son cherish these moments to this day, and she is extremely proud of the solid foundation he lovingly received through those nightly bedtime stories. Her heart-felt wish is to share this same bonding experience with parents all over the world, through stories that inspire love and caring through compassion.
Presently, the author lives in Michigan with a steady stream of foster English Bulldogs. These four-legged friends enter her home as family until it is time for them to begin their new story with their own forever family.
The rest of her time is spent volunteering at a local horse rescue, CK Corral. Love lives there, as well, thanks to a dream-come-true for the owner, Chris Kautz. Currently, the rescue is home to eleven well-loved horses, six feisty ponies, two adorable miniature horses, one sweet donkey, one beautiful hinny, five curly geese, two runner ducks, a plethora of chickens, and a steady stream of about twenty affection-seeking barn cats.
The author truly loves life, lives it to the fullest, and feels blessed to be able to pay it forward, each and every day.
