Dr. Patty Luckenbach is a well-known speaker, a profound and wise teacher, and the author of The Land of Tears Is a Secret Place and The Kingdom of Heart. For over twenty-six years, she has specialized in the care and nurturing of the human spirit as one experiences deep grief and loss from the constant changes in life. Dr. Patty is an associate minister of Mile Hi Church, Lakewood, Colorado, and is the director of the prayer and care center.
A Colorado native, Luckenbach received her master’s degree in transpersonal psychology from Boulder Graduate School, and she holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Centers of Spiritual Living. Dr. Patty is a teacher and psychotherapist specializing in grief support services, psycho-spiritual growth, and journal writing as a therapeutic adjunct. Her greatest joy comes from facilitating others in stepping through the portals of life’s changes. She lives in the Rocky Mountains with her husband, Luke, and her dog, Maggie Rose.
Patty Luckenbach has been gifted with being a part of the Lakota Sioux community. As a Sun Dancer for many years, she displays and lives from the place of a shaman’s soul. “All of life is a sacred ritual of remembering our holy oneness with all of life.”
