Introduction
Many interesting events have entered our awareness recently that have challenged our ability to perceive security and happiness. Sometimes we may even doubt our collective abilities to cope. This indicates that we have not yet accepted into our belief systems the Natural Law that states, “Everything is perfect”. In that regard, we have much to learn. Belief in Perfection means that all judgments represent human folly.
But how can we really accept that Perfection is possible in this chaotic collection of events we call life? I am asking you in the writings that follow to be skeptical but receptive. Question these concepts yes, but open your mind to new avenues of thought that will require you to use your powers of intuition and your imagination
By whatever means we deem effective for our evolution into enhanced awareness, let us set an intention to become more balanced by paying more attention to our intuition, and less time judging events as anything other than the consequences of Natural Law.
We may have witnessed disastrous weather events that have caused massive destruction and injury. We may have watched wars and conflicts unfold before our eyes. We may even have experienced ill health and emotional pain in our own lives. And yet I am still teaching that “Everything is perfect” because I believe in Infinite Wisdom.
At the moment of birth into this physical world, every last one of us arrived in a state of spiritual perfection. This might come as a surprise, the idea of human perfection. It might even be a difficult concept for you to accept at first—after all, it’s highly likely that you don’t remember ever feeling that way. But it’s true. On the day of your birth, you were the perfect new human, suddenly and violently placed into a new world.
Compared to the realm of Infinity from which we came, we found this new world to be immediately uncomfortable. For the first time, we experienced the terrifying loneliness of becoming a separate entity. Until then we were used to feeling complete, at peace, and as one with Infinite Wisdom. I will get into the nature and meaning of the Infinite Wisdom shortly. For now, what we must consider is that, for all of us, conception was merely the act of the Infinite Wisdom giving us the opportunity to experience this corner of the universe in a physical form.
This rather trite explanation of life might seem a little too simplistic, but the more I ponder this concept, the better I feel. The notion that we are all literally connected to a higher power (and always have been) makes me feel the kind of peace that most people spend lifetimes trying to achieve. For many, obtaining this level of consciousness requires an evolution of our acquired mental state. Most never approach or even seek this awareness. For those who do seek it, most never find it until the moment of physical death. With this edition of Concordia, I intend to explore profound concepts into this awareness, ultimately arriving at a deeper understanding of the nature of Truth. Hopefully, I will help you discover and define it for yourself.
As a brief introduction to the true nature of things, let us review what we know. Although life began on planet earth 500 million years ago, our true nature was actually established some 14.5 billion years earlier when our known universe was manifested by an event scientists call the “Big Bang”. Later we will discuss this creation event in more detail, but for now I assume you have heard about this scientific explanation that is widely accepted as fact.
Geologists have described the many fantastic forms planet earth took before its present state. All the many horrific events eventually resulted in a planet that was perfectly suited for the establishment of life forms. So life began here 500 million years ago. You are the latest and greatest version of this 500 million year evolutionary process. You are descended from early combinations of elements that began as primitive combinations of carbon and amino acids. Your present physical form (and therefore you) required 500 million years to evolve. You are indeed fortunate to be here.
If you can begin to wrap your head around these creation concepts, you can become aware of how very unique and special you really are. You are the latest version of God’s greatest vision. Yet, you are unique in so many ways because no other person has had the exact genetic code as you and no other person has had your specific life experience.
A word of caution: If you think you will uncover the absolute truth here, you are wrong. The absolute truth is one of those unknowable things that we innately seek. And although truth is unchanging and immortal, the truth that I perceive may not be meaningful for another. That is the only true statement that one can make about the truth.
Through the lessons to come, I am confident that you will discover for yourself what is true for you. Maybe these lessons will allow you to feel more at home in your own life. Indeed the reason I started writing was because it made me feel better. Then I discovered that feeling better was my purpose. So I kept on writing. After many months of research and discovery, I have come to some key conclusions on the things that appear to be true for me. In the hopes that they will help you find your own truth, I offer them for you in this volume.
Let’s start with the day of your birth. As a first attempt to gather what that day must have been like, let’s think about your life in the womb. In short, it was nine months of pure bliss and continued comfort. In this phase of your creation, you were still very much connected to the perfection that we all share. There was no reason for you to feel or know anything else. But then on the day of your birth, all of that changed. Your ideal environment gave way to bright lights, noise, cold, pain, and hunger. This was certainly a jarring experience, but all of these terrifying and troubling new sensations were nothing compared to the notion that overshadowed them all: at the moment of your birth, you began to experience separation from the Infinite Wisdom for the first time. No wonder you cried so much. This new human experience was entirely unpleasant.
