About the Author

Annelie Holmene Pelaez, BS, RN, CCRN, CVRN-BC, CMS, was born and grew up in Norway. She has been an intensive care nurse in the United States for more than 25 years and is awarded for nursing excellence. Her credentials include certification in critical care, cardiovascular nursing, and meditation. Annelie has written several articles and is published on topics about cardiovascular disease and meditation. She has three children, five grandchildren, and resides with her husband, Diego, on Long Island in New York.
