My Spirit She Lifts from Me

Valentine’s Day is always a great day for love. I boarded the plane to fly from Florida to the west coast. I was feeling sorry for myself because it was another V. Day and here I was again alone and lonely without a love to call my own.

Knowing I was loved by many was not enough. I wanted a romantic relationship in the fullest context.

Being open and vulnerable, I offered a prayer for peace and love to reign within me and to see the signs that I was loved. I took a window seat and started the journey. What I thought was a trip for a job interview became a journey with a different purpose. It was a day full of fluffy clouds. They started talking to me. Not in the weird way, but through messages of love and miracles.

I saw a perfect heart in the sky. Then I saw another with a bit different shape. I thought to myself, this is so cool, I asked for a sign that I was loved and I got it. I was satisfied that my request had been answered.

What proceeded to happen over the next few hours was the miracle. Every time I looked out, I saw another heart. I started to count them and it was amazing. Some were big, some were small, some were thick and some were thin. It was incredible to see the clouds shape into a heart formation before my eyes. Some would disintegrate fast and some would be rock solid in shape until we passed.

Some of the hearts would dance, and some had beams of the sun’s rays shining through as sparkles and diamonds and colors and brightness. The more I saw, the more I thanked God for loving me and for showing me how much he truly, deeply, naturally loved me and wanted me to see it, to feel it, to experience it. As I sat by the window hour after hour counting up the ways, I became overwhelmed in love, overwhelmed in grace, in blessings, in connection with universal spirit.

With tears in my eyes, love in my heart and over 200 personally delivered Valentines later, we landed.
