About the Author

Following a brief career in sports journalism, I got married and had 4 wonderful children. I loved reading books to them. I found this time so precious in not only bonding but just about the only time I had their full attention! My 2 older sons- Matthew & Cameron were the inspiration for this book. They were (and still are) extremely close and always ‘partners in crime’ growing up. They would go exploring together and had wonderful imaginations. My sister Sarah, illustrated this book, so you could say this book has been a ‘labour of love’. May your children enjoy reading this book, as much as I enjoyed writing it!
