Sickness and health have fascinated me since I was a little girl in bed with the usual childhood illnesses. This was the time I had out of body experiences, explored other dimensions and what I called space. I called it time out and found it peaceful. Sickness has always been a time for reflection and understanding for me. I have had relatively good health. My main challenge came when I manifested Cancer. I healed myself and am now in excellent health and able to share this experience with others who may find it helpful. I travel, teach and heal others.

About the Book
When Manya Lindsay was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2007, she found herself facing death.
She could sense the fear of family and friends whose thoughts were “you better hurry up and take treatment if you don’t want to die.”
A quiet and meditative person by nature, it made her reflect on life and she realized that it had never presented her with something she couldn’t handle. She chose to be optimistic about learning instead of focusing on dying.

About the Author
MANYA LINDSAY, a native of India, earned a graduate degree in psychology and a postgraduate degree in social work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai. She lives in the United Kingdom and has a son and a daughter. She is a Vipassana Practioner and healer. ILLUSTRATIONS BY Aruna Roy
