Dada Krupa Karuna graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor’s degree in business management in 1997. She went on to build a career as an insurance and financial professional. Her husband and she are also business owners together since 1999. She has been married since 1986, and she has raised three amazing young men with her husband, who are now in their twenties in Los Angeles, California.
She always had an interest for volunteering her time for causes that were dear to her heart, and translating and writing was definitely one of those among them. She has taught Meet the Masters art programs, Junior Achievement courses, and has also played an active role in PTA and parent councils. She has been translating and contributing her writing for over twenty-eight years for Jai Sachchidanand Sangh and its affiliated organizations and publications.
From a very young age, family has always been of utmost importance to her, and as she transitioned from daughter, to sister, and to wife and mother roles in her life, she realized the tremendous intrinsic value to the quality of our human existence that our closest relations play. She has been fortunate to be raised by incredibly loving and supportive family, extended family, and friends. Her husband and three sons have been pivotal in allowing her to truly maximize this gift of human life by discovering the world within with their incredible support, love, and commitment to the family.
Although, like most on this earth her life has not been without the trials, tribulations, turmoil, and adversity that most people face at some of their lives—whether it be personal, professional, financial, social, mental, physical, emotional, or a combination thereof. Fortunately, the very privilege of translating and writing has been the conduit to enable her to rise above the same turmoil and adversity and allow her to find serenity, healing, and empowerment from within.
She has also been fortunate to meet amazing holistic guides such as Shri Dada Bhagwan and Shri Kanudadaji, who have been there to offer their timeless knowledge, wisdom, compassion, and grace. She was commissioned to render this book originally from Gujarati into English by her Present Holistic Guide, Shri Kanudadaji. His request and blessings came as a delightful gift to her with his incredible grace to go with it!
This guidebook has truly come together as a tapestry of grace and union of the hearts of many amazing contributors from around the globe!
