In our every day state of self induced stoicism, we tend to forget that we have the power to move, to change, to grow, to renew, to repair, to reach out, and to love. Instead we stagnate in our intimacies with others. We stop running toward one another. We shut down our willingness communicate. We withdraw from expressing our truest emotions. And we begin to shrivel from sentiment. But we have the ability to reconnect to those that we are already bound to, or to reach out for new pathways to devotion and joy. Our will is free to choose the unique encounters that excite us and motivate us toward fresh relationships, and interesting experiences. We are unencumbered in the myriad of ways we can grow and change, in relation to those we invite to share in our lives.
We should not wait to run toward our sense of home. Every moment is a chance to be on the move in the direction of true connection with those we love. We are free to do this on any given day.
