This book was written as a gift to parents whose children are starting Kindergarten. My intention is to give you every insight that I have as a mother and as a teacher. Whether this is your first child going into Kindergarten, your only child, your last child or you’ve had a gap in time where you haven’t been in a Kindergarten classroom in a while – this book is for you. I have always found it fascinating and truthfully incredible that the most important job in the world – being a parent – comes with absolutely no guidelines! No manual or “How To” book. I know that I could have used one back when I was starting out so I felt the need to write one for you.

About the Author
Jeannie Podest is a certified teacher and lives in New Jersey with her family. She completed her undergraduate studies at Villanova University earning her BA with a dual minor in Psychology and Sociology. She then earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education at Pace University. While Jeannie enjoys children of all ages, she has a special affinity for Kindergarten. Jeannie has learned so many valuable lessons along the way and has compiled her lessons learned here for you.
