About the Author
Laurie M. Figaniak has been writing poetry, plays, and prose since the age of eight. She graduated from Immaculata University and continues study in English, with concentration in creative writing, at the University of Pennsylvania. Laurie has published a variety of poetic works and has written many creative essays. Her love of nature and animals, canines in particular, has led to this book debut. In addition to creative writing, Laurie also enjoys designing other projects, painting, and song writing. She lives in the beautiful suburbs of Philadelphia.
