About the Author

Mary Ellen Mulderrig, currently an Elementary School teacher, has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special education. Her son Jack was the inspiration for this magical and enchanted children’s story. Mary Ellen lives joyfully with her husband John, and her four sons, in Bucks County, PA.

Dewey Saunders is a visual artist working in a variety of media: collage, commercial illustration, album packaging design and fine art for galleries. He art directs labels, rebrands companies, illustrates for magazines and advertising agencies. He curates an art blog called Humble Wonder and collects rare publications and vintage ephemera. Currently based in Philadelphia, his South Florida roots shine through his work in psychedelic shapes, tropical color schemes and summer time sunset gradients. His illustration and collage work have a hand done analog feel and a multitude of styles are joined by an organic and child like playfulness.
