I Am Awake The Self is the universal connection to your origin. The Self is the vehicle that transports you from limit to all possibility and truth, and will reveal the true purpose of your being. Complete awareness of the Self is an ongoing process. Jesus experienced similar moments of awareness and growth during His lifetime, though not from the particularly limited perspective that you have today. He remains a wonderful example of what is currently happening for many of you. Though it is often difficult to separate the man from the myth, Jesus’ lifetime holds great meaning and promise for all who are on this journey of awakening. He accomplished what you are attempting, breathed life into the Self and became, for many, the living example of what can be accomplished when trust and connection to the truth is complete. Jesus transcended this earthly life to expand beyond the Self contained in human form, and continued his journey on the way to new adventures. Can you do anything less? Throughout your history, there have been those who have followed Jesus’ example. No written records or great stories of their birth or lifetime have been written; but nonetheless, they transcended their earthly existence and moved forward to embrace the Self in total awareness. The recognition and acceptance of the Self as the spark from Original Thought—the vehicle for your human life and further adventure—is an important part of your evolution. You don’t have to go into the desert for forty days and nights before revelations and messages from the Self can be known to you. Don’t get caught up in the fictional story of Jesus. He was who you are. What His journey was in truth was not always written of accurately. There was a man called Jesus, and He walked the path you are walking. He lived within limits, just as you do and left these limits behind when He transcended as the Self and became a traveler through time once more. You can and will do no less, for you have willed it so. Jesus is ever your companion and your mirror to gaze upon. He broke ground for this adventure of the realized Self and cleared the path of obstacles that were His to overcome. He loves you that much, and even more. You would do well to model your behavior after what He has accomplished. He showed you the way. The way was not pain and suffering—that was merely to gain your attention—but instead was filled with beauty and revelation. You can do nothing less.

About the Author
Judith has climbed the mountains of Peru, studied at the feet of a guru for many years, received and recorded messages from Spirit and been a seeker of wisdom and truth for most of her adult life. She is a wife, mother and a grandmother who lives with her husband, a rescued dog and a cat that owns her, along the beautiful coast of California.
