You make a difference!
The love that is inside of you is everywhere. This love is the power, it is the energy that creates all things and it also is what brings each of us back to who and what we really are.
Take a deep breath, close your eyes and feel that energy, that love. I know it is there because I learned how to do this it took time and now when I practice this exercise I feel the energy. Today it feels stronger because I have made this type of meditation a daily practice for over 6 years.
Some call this energy, that we can feel inside of us, the Holy Spirit, it doesn’t matter what you call it, just practice feeling it, again just close your eyes and take a deep breath and feel what is inside of you. The love the energy grows, it doesn’t matter what your age is, anyone at anytime can begin to practice this type of meditation.
An example - an athlete or someone with a goal in mind will spend hours, days, weeks and months studying and practicing to reach their goal. Successful people don’t give up they keep going until they reach their goal. What we don’t see when we are watching successful people is usually the times when they are practicing, what is going on behind the scenes we only see a glimpse of the time spent, the main event.
Last year I started to draw, I decided that I wanted to not only write a book but I wanted to illustrate my book. I prayed, and meditated and asked what must I do to make this happen what steps must I take. I found an artist from England on the internet and he has a web-site that teaches people how to draw stuff real easy. Then I took action, I began to practice and I found that I can draw. It has been about one year I don’t practice everyday but I practice when I can I am much better today because I practice. I love drawing.
Some exciting Information that I found! There were some studies done about the length of time that it takes to learn how to do something new. Many people think that it takes a certain talent or hundreds, even thousands of hours to learn how to do something. This other group of people found something different, they found that it actually only took about 20 hours to learn how to do something new and then with practice, people get better. So follow your heart and find a creative outlet and practice.
You can do anything that you want to if you really want to do it. If you can’t decide look back, what did you love doing when you were a child. Remember though that the key is to be honest with yourself. If you try something and it doesn’t come easy there is a reason. This is not about forcing people to do what they don’t want to do this is about discovering what we love doing uncovering our unique gifts. Sometimes when you really want to do something you have to try it alone. Don’t be afraid to spend time alone and don’t be shy you can always make new friends.
