About the Author

Debbie Lindsay is a holistic life coach in Gilbert, Arizona. She owns and operates High Joy Holistic Healing, LLC and specializes in Rapid Eye Technology. The inspiration for this picture book began as a tool to help children who struggle with self-confidence and negative thoughts. She has dedicated many years in assisting people of all ages in achieving physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

She now enjoys the “empty nest” phase of life with her wonderful husband, Curtis. Together they celebrate thirty years of marriage, three beautiful daughters (Danielle, Lacey Jo, BrieAnn) and two beautiful grand-angels (Hayden and Jordin).

About the Illustrator: Francois Lange was born in Paris, France.
He has been drawing since he was very little.
His first drawings were and continue to be his best friends.
Francois has worked in the animation industry and currently works as an illustrator in sunny Florida.
He has a very successful virtual sketchbook online that he blissfully decorates daily with his sketches to celebrate the joy of simply being in the present moment. Visit him at : Sketchesinstillness.com.

Debbie and Francois are forever grateful for having been guided by the universe to write and illustrate this beautiful children's book together. "This book is for children ages 0 to 98. Debbie does a brilliant job of portraying the emotions of a little girl and bringing us all to a moment when we felt just like Jordin. There is an immediate connection with the book as it speaks to each one of us and lovingly takes us through a little girls experience of dealing with fear, anger and sadness. As this book is being read to a child... both the reader and child will be empowered and have a better understanding of how to deal with these normal human emotions. The book is beautifully illustrated with bright, bold and vivid colors. No matter how many times I read it, I can't wait to get to the end and experience the joy, hope and love Jordin has for herself as well as for the other characters in the book. This is bound to be a classic and a treasured book for all those who read it. "This is a darling book about a little girl who is overcome with fear and anger BUT she decides to make a different choice in how she's feeling. The book calls it ""flipping the switch"" to let in The Light.

I love reading this to my kiddos! They are engaged through both books [it's a flip book of one continuous story, not two different stories]. The art work is phenomenal and so colorful - very different than other children's books we own. I love the unique story and idea within this book. A must have in your children's book collection!!"

"TOUCHED, MOVED and INSPIRED by the special and tender moments that were created by reading this book together with my youngest daughter, Grace (7)! See, she too struggles with reading like Debbie, the author did. The story was easy to read together and we loved the element of fun created by flipping over the book! Tears came when we read the section about Debbie's difficulty with reading when she was in first grade. Grace softly said, ""That's Me Mommy"". And then when we read about how Debbie's parents believed in her and helped her every night, she smiled and said, That's You Mommy'. Can I just say I LOVE THIS BOOK!! It has so much positivity for children and even for adults. It is such a wonderful way to show children to put aside their negative thoughts about themselves and helps when they are discouraged. I believe that this book can really help children in their personal struggles. As they are growing in this society they can differentiate between what their little thoughts tell them and what they are actually really capable of. It is also wonderful that Heroes of The Heart comes in the play as what gets us back up to really conquer our fears & discouraging times. This is such an extraordinary book for anyone to read and will only give uplifting feelings for children to fully express themselves positively!

This is a phenomenal children's book and great read for adults too! Who doesn't have days like Jordin where they let their negative self-talk get the best of them? What a great reminder to stay connected to our higher-self and shine our light bright! As a former teacher I wish I would have had this book in my classroom to constantly remind my students of their potential and teach them how to make every day a great day! What a positive story to inspire all. Absolutely love this book! It's right there with some of my favorite classics.
