New talent is being discovered every day. A homeless man with a golden voice; a little boy who becomes famous from YouTube; new businesses, ideas, and talents rise to the top seemingly overnight while we stand by and watch. Their success shows that the door is open, waiting for someone with confidence of what they have to offer to walk through and announce their arrival. The person that the door of opportunity is waiting on is you.
Someone is waiting for our voice and creativity. Our voice has a certain sound, volume, and vibration. Our level of creativity is energetic, innovative, and captivating. When these combined forces are released into the universe, it creates somewhat of a utopia. It sends forth a charge into the universe. This charge creates atmospheres that many have been searching for but are never able to experience because this level of voice and creativity had never been expressed.
Many of us believed by way of example that our lives were meant to be as we have seen other people live their lives. For many of our models, it is a life full of emotional roller coasters, fights, struggles, and mediocrity. If we are lucky, we may squeeze in a good retirement plan, a nice home, wonderful children, and a few grandchildren out of it too. Even though this is something that we have been told to shoot for, and it almost seems inevitable that we would achieve something different from this, our real purpose and goal in life is to make an impact and a difference so great that everyone will have to recognize us as a force to reckon with. We are here to make a difference in the world.
We are all made in the image and likeness of the infinite, but we are never taught how important and valuable this truth is, so we live beneath our fullest potential. When we really begin to focus in on the truth of what we are, we begin to know that we are uniquely individual. Furthermore, we understand that our one-of-a-kind way of expression will be our gift to the world. It is from this level of thought that we understand that we are gifts to someone.
Someone needs our level of thought. Someone needs our level of love. Someone needs our level of expression. If we never learn how to celebrate this truth, we will go on living without a purpose or a cause. In order to live a truthful life of abundance, we must refrain from being islands unto ourselves. We must know that our lives are at their fullest when we recognize that we are channels for other people.
Our declaration to ourselves should always be, “I am a channel to another person’s voice. I am a channel to another person’s creativity. I am a channel to another person’s self-worth, self-esteem, self-gratification, and self-realization.” This affirmation will allow us to keep our minds as well as agendas clear when going about our daily tasks. This allows us to consciously stay out of the “me first” syndrome. This gives us the agenda of a servant. When we truly begin to serve, we seek the kingdom. We must refuse to be oppositional to the realities that are before us. We must begin to see that by connecting to all things, we become one with the light, and as we go forth in service to others, the light force is shown and shared through us.
The question that so many of us may be asking is how do I find my voice and creativity? Jesus, a master teacher, put it like this Luke 9:23 KJV, “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” First of all, I have to deny the imposter self. I’ve been taught limitations, failures, bondage, and everything about myself except for the truth. So I have to learn how to spend time with myself so that I may get to know myself and be able to rid myself of all that I have inappropriately become.
The second thing Jesus instructs us to do is to pick up our cross. Our cross is the weight that we have to carry simply for being one-of-a-kind. The weight is the criticism, rejection, and unbelief of others. So in essence what he is saying to us is that we must be able to embrace our difference, divinity, and infinitude. When we learn how to celebrate the very elements about ourselves that make us different, we are picking up our cross.
The final thing Jesus asked us to do is follow him. Where’s Jesus trying to lead us? Jesus in fact is talking about greatness, influence, and the mastery of life. So if we are going to walk in the same footsteps of the Master, we must be willing to accept our difference; and as we accept our difference, our differences will lead us into different arenas, which will cause us to change the face of our reality.
At this point in our lives, we will be able to recognize how important these principles are. They aren’t just what lead us to public success, but they introduce us to a never-ending journey. This journey is inward, and it allows us to discover the all-knowing divine presence within. As we experience different facets of life with the expectation of growth, we will continue to expand into greater purpose.
As we expand into greater purpose, we allow our lives to be lived as examples to others, and as others follow after our example, it causes us to release the infinite power from within. The more we are able and willing to release the power from within ourselves to others, the more we are replenished with compassion, love, justice, helpfulness, and ever-expanding good. When this has transpired, then we understand and value every one of these principles because through these principles we have found the ultimate meaning of life. Our voice and creativity is established in the world and meeting the needs of others. As this happens, we are duplicating the divine by loving and wanting the world to evolve so desperately that we are willing to give of ourselves so that others may be free.
