“Wear the reflection of imperfection/We come from the infinite place of limitation” -Matisyahu

This quote is incredibly telling to me. Each of us, whether we know it or not, has the ability to live directly from our higher self/Source energy. We can constantly be directly living from this Divine Source. Many people, though, choose (not through their own choosing directly, but subconsciously) to live from a place of ego or a place of pleasure. Living for physical pleasure is a sad position to be in at this point at this stage of earth’s evolution when so many people are enlightened to truth, but it is a reality for many. And so this quote represents that idea. The idea of living from something that is unaffected by Divine Source. Too many immerse themselves so fully in the physical world that they begin to wear the imperfections of the energy they receive and give (given energy leaves energy receipts, this is the essence of the explanation of karma and as the world progresses in its evolution this karma is going to be more physically visible and apparent). Further than this even, you wear the imbalances inside of yourself that have been created genetically or from childhood traumatic experiences..you wear these emotional scars on your person. UNLESS you are able to instill faith and belief in the idea of there being a higher power; in this case the emotional scars become obsolete because you can live from a place of love and of spiritual presence and can constantly spread love and can sidestep the rules of the previous existence.
When you think about where we come from and you think of the idea that birth is just death in reverse, it becomes clear that we are essentially endless beings. Though separate from one another physically, we are joined energetically and genetically with our ancestors. Our existences (souls) can be thought of as reels of film, unceasing and continually moving forward. For millennia we have been incomplete beings, never fully living through a spiritual existence. I can say this confidently because if we had discovered this Source energy idea and had perfected our existences previously, joining physical, spiritual, and metaphysical to become one, we would have completed our destinies. However, that is not the case. We live with the scars of our previous lives and they manifest themselves in our physical bodies. We acquire/contain emotional ideas or habits that manifest themselves through these scars. The more we practice these habits, the more they become embedded in our identity and define who we are. The cycle of this idea is infinite because our ancestors go through it and pass it on to us genetically and through their teachings etc. therefore we are all growing up in an incomplete condition which can be considered a form of spiritual stunted growth. Past life experiences and current life goals can stop this cycle but the possibility is just being discovered during this generation. We have the ability to stop the cycle and to become the ones to grow in all facets of existence within ourselves. We can merge the unconscious mind with the conscious, the physical body with the spiritual, and the mental conscious mind with the metaphysical existence of Divine beings and of Source energy. Learning to incorporate this idea completely into our existence is a process and is not easy for the vast majority of people who have been misled by centuries and centuries of limitation and of impossibility. Clearly these past ideas have not worked because society is not at a point, or anywhere near a point for that matter, wherein everyone is happy, peaceful, and enlightened. It is clear we need a change and clear that this is the path which will work. But again, it will be difficult for a lot of people to accept this idea. The point is that this is what we need because everyones‘ thinking needs to change and because the ideas of the past must be shifted significantly and dramatically in order to facilitate the change that everyone can consider necessary and positive.
