The Commitment and the Guarantee of the Book You Hold in Your Hands
Confused and disturbed by the study of the doctrine about the perfect universe, the disciple approached the master in a hasty fashion for answers that he was unable to receive from anywhere else. The master, a sage in his own right, dressed in plain and simple cotton attire, after listening to his student patiently, requested him to take a deep breath and sit down for a cup of
freshly brewed herbal spiced tea. While pouring the hot tea into
the cup of his disciple, the master noticed his impatience and
restlessness but remained quiet. A little later, while the student
sipped hot tea slowly from a handmade Indian earthenware cup,
the master looking at his disciple understood what is robbing him
of peace and purpose in life and causing a good deal of anxiety.
Then, a little more lately, the master again poured some hot tea
into his disciple’s cup and sat down with the student at a little
distance. The master then began the following conversation in an empathetic and ensuring manner.
“If you give birth to the habit of reading and studying in
a disciplined manner on a consistent daily basis about life and for your own individual refinement, you will enter the perfect universe. By doing so, you will enter to experience and witness
extraordinary sensations and perceptions. You will experience and witness unimaginable and unthinkable things, receive the gifts of thoughts as if from nowhere, and sense and perceive things
that could be classifi ed as either absent or unavailable. While
passing through this phase of your life, there will be nobody who
will actually understand you, nobody who will believe in you. The more you will choose to walk on this path, the farther you are from the ordinary ways of the society. You will know and understand the truth. Fellow human beings around you would ignore you, laugh at you, condemn you, dislike you, and would rather prefer to listen to astrologers, entertainers, doctors, and politicians. A few human beings may seek out you and try to
reflect and understand you, but they are seldom the ones that
will truly understand the perfect universe. They are people who
would exploit and joke about the perfect universe and term it
as “this and that”. To converse to them of the wonders of the perfect universe is often to engage in a futile episode of debate and miscommunication”.
Looking at the calm and composed expression on the face of his disciple, the master paused for a good ten seconds and then continued to counsel him further.“ Th erefore to avoid these trifles, it is better to keep quiet and not complicate the subject. Enjoy the perfect universe and let your fellow human beings think you are dumb and foolish. You will be a part of the mysteries of the perfect universe and this you should share only if requested by those souls genuinely and honestly interested in the study of the doctrine about the perfect universe. Otherwise choose to be sane and silent”.
And so should we.
