Elysse once again finds herself running amongst the tall green grass as the wind gently blows across the whispering meadow. Her long, wavy brown hair sways gently with the movement of the trees. She comes across the same forest she sees everyday and has been told emphatically by her mother not to enter in. She stands outside the dark entrance and stares into the unknown. She thinks to herself, 'It's only a forest. Why doesn't mother want me to go in? Surely she doesn't mean this forest.' Elysse is a very inquisitive child who adheres to her mother's requests most times, but this time her inquisitive mind gets the better of her and she finds her small feet walking deeper and deeper.....

About the Book
Elysse is an inquisitive little girl who finds herself in an enchanted forest, learning valuable teachings from a fairy named Safia. Safia teaches Elysse about the importance of being connected to all life on the planet. Journey with Elysse as she begins to understand her own connectedness to all things. Included in this book is a journal page along with a meditation exercise for both you and your children to engage in.
About the Author
Lisa Kelly has been an elementary school teacher for fourteen years. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Brock University. Lisa is a student of yoga and meditation and has practiced Reiki for many years. This book reflects Lisa’s desire to share with children some of the living principles that worked for her over the years. These principles are based on the interconnectedness of self and all sentient beings through universal energy. She hopes that children will get the most benefits from this if introduced to it in their formative years. Lisa lives in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, with her partner, Cam, daughter, Sydney, two dogs, Lilly and Vader, and cat named Jake.
