About the Author

Heather Hamilton has dabbled in poetry and writing for as long as she can remember. It had become her favorite way to express herself and try to make sense of the world around her. Even though she graduated college with a Doctorate of Chiropractic, the yearnings to be a writer never left her. Eleven years ago, the words of a Hay House author filled her office as she played a cassette tape that had unexpectedly arrived in the mail that day from a friend. Dr. Wayne Dyer's simple but powerful message quickly awakened her soul, and she immediately realized she was hearing her truth. Soon, this truth began to set her free—free from doubt and fear, and free to become the manifestor of her own destiny, the writer of her own dreams.

Heather often wished her story ended there with, "And she lived happily ever after." But really, what kind of story would that be? There was work to be done, and years of old thinking isn't easy to change. She kept at it, and not only did great change occur for Heather, she then became inspired to write books; books that before all this, she had never aspired to write. Poetry, then, began to flow from her pen to paper with ease.

Heather Hamilton is a grateful wife to her husband, Mark, of twelve years, and a lucky mother to three amazing children. She believes that her job as a mother is to remind her children of the power that lies within. "Dreams come true," she tells them, "watch Mama."

Heather resides in beautiful Southern California.
