Introduction
The Air Chakra
I fled upwards, ridding myself of the fear and hatred that swept through the earth, infecting the minds and bodies of the people, and breaking against my aura like a continuous wave. From afar, I looked down upon this planet of blues and greens, delicately swirled in white. It was truly beautiful.
Red fissures opened, running through the earth, cutting across the greens and blues – the lines of war – separating the people. I flared, and in a great anger loosed bolts of energy from my fingertips to rid the earth of this despair.
Surprised by my anger, I withdrew … backtracking through the lines of energy until I stood above the earth as before. This time I offered my love, a radiant flowing robe that spread out to encompass the planet. Sweeping down, I sought a place to land, a place to lay my heart. Behind me was an echo, an observer, a being of light following me, shadowing me with an invisible link.
I searched eagerly, flying low over the landscape. Nothing appeared. A force seemed to be pushing us, this being of light and I, until in the distance a great mountain appeared. Hope flared inside me. With relief, I sped to the roof of the world. To the Table of Tibet where the Masters lived and trod, a land of Light and Love that shone upon the world.
Below me lay a pinnacle. Gladly – hungrily – I swept down and laid my heart upon the highest mountain in the world. And felt it pierce my heart. Startled, I saw the white robes stained crimson, and flew backwards up into the sky, open-mouthed and glaze-eyed.
Far below, a calm blue sea beckoned, calling me. I plummeted down, falling, to enfold myself in the waters of Mother’s Love, to lose myself in her caress. And found myself floundering below the surface, unable to breath.
I longed for land, and was spread-eagled on the ground in a red arid land, parched, gazing up at a deep blue sky.
Where else is there to go, I thought, but back to the Air?
3 About the Author
DreamSnake writes:
These stories began as a website.
In the latter half of 2000, I’d arrived on the Internet for the first time. It was an exciting new world of information, communication and exploration and, being impressed with the websites, wanted to build one of my own – but I needed a theme.
Several stories had recently appeared in my spiritual diary that lent themselves to the idea. I built a website and posted the stories on it. More stories appeared. These, too, were added to the website. Eventually, the website grew until there were enough stories for a book.
Little did I know at the time that the stories would continue for the next decade until a series was written.

Review of
Diary of an APPRENTICE
I am asked to review quite a number of books that relate to a mystical or metaphysical nature. With most of them I am happy to oblige. I refuse a few for various reasons, but seldom do I resonate to a manuscript in the way that I have with Diary of an Apprentice. This is rather like reading the stories of myself at an earlier stage of my journey, but, of course, they are also very different. These reflect the uniqueness of the author, recounting his many journeys and experiences in − what I call − a Greater reality. There are not many people who learn to cross the membrane between the visible, tangible world into the invisible, non-tangible world, yet the author has accomplished this brilliantly.
His journey stories will take you from physical and non-physical aborigines in the bush, to lines and balls of light, and on to the distant stars, yet all have one thing in common: authenticity. It is only when you have made similar journeys that you know the authenticity of another person’s account.
This is an excellent book; I suggest you read it slowly. This allows the author’s journey to reach to a deeper level within, opening the reader to the vast unknown in which we live.
