The Adventures of Cotin Mirel are for children of all ages, reconnecting to that unconditional love that beckons us back to help us keep moving forward.

About the Author

Every person has a story worth telling and worth listening to. The Adventures of Cotin Mirel are based on Carmen Luisa’s own personal journey. Here, she shares what has helped her to move forward when Carmen felt she had “gotten stuck.” Today, children ages ten and up still struggle with self-worth and being able to fit into society. Sometimes, children “get stuck” in their hearts and minds. Carmen’s goal is that The Adventures of Cotin Mirel will help her readers find a way to keep on going and learn to love themselves.

The words “I once was lost but now I’m found” are so true to every one of us who has felt alone and beaten down and by the grace of God has landed in a better place. For this author, her saving grace has been the Divine Mother. Carmen Luisa wants every person, young and old, to be aware of the caring that the Divine Mother offers us all, not only during those times when we feel unloved and alone, but for always.

Carmen calls Sacramento, California, her home. There she lives with her partner and their two dogs. They have two amazing adult daughters and two grandchildren who fi ll their hearts with great joy and pride.

In her heart, Carmen wants them all to get to know her a little better through these books.
