Who gives a shit!!

This book is written with all the love, intent and purpose as a resource for my granddaughter. My world got turned upside down with the addition of a granddaughter to our family. This, coupled with a health trauma prompted me to wonder what I have to give this precious new soul on her journey through life to adulthood. From my experience and observations the youth and teenage years 11 thru to 20 are filled with anxiety and apprehension. The kids are bombarded with outside and inside pressure. They are uncertain with their body; their challenging role in the family; the community and the media all creating images that can be confusing. All this, at a time when their parents or primary care givers struggle to communicate and the teenager’s language skills have been reduced to a grunt, shrug or nod. We are taught to do daily routines to help keep our physical body in good health, like clean your teeth, wash your hands but there are no regular practical tasks to assist our mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing so without going over the top, I hope there will be some simple processes that will help young people establish a healthy approach to their own soul’s wellbeing and raise their curiosity to do some research for themselves.
