All of our B&W softcover books are formatted and printed as trade paperbacks. Trade paperback is an industry term that lets readers know the book is made of higher quality materials, is produced in a larger size and is offered at a higher price than mass market paperbacks. Typically mass market paperbacks are printed on cheap paper and are poorly made. We want your book to last a lifetime, hence the reason we print trade paperbacks.

We offer trade paperbacks in the following sizes:

Balboa Press B&W softcover books are printed on high-quality, acid-free, book-grade opaque paper stock in black and white or grayscale halftones. The cover is printed on a bright white cover stock in full colour. The package you choose determines the number of free soft cover books you receive.
