About the Author

Joe S. Bean, Ph.D., has dedicated his life to psychological counseling, college instruction, and authorship of six scholarly works. He taught at the University Of Kentucky and The University Of Virginia- Wise Branch (adjunct) before he became head of the psychology department at Shorter University in Rome, GA. He subsequently taught as an associate professor of psychology and head of the psychology department at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tennessee. He finished his teaching career as an adjunct professor for Chattanooga State College and Motlow State Community College in Lynchburg, TN. In addition to his stellar college student and faculty ratings, he was commended for his scholarly reviews of textbooks by a major textbook company. He has the following publications: 1.
