About the Book

This is a collection of musings from a heart that is healing and slowly blooming back to life. These pages are a tonic of comfort and understanding to take refuge in until you remember your own beautiful glow from within.

About the Author

Born and raised in NE Ohio, Jennifer is a Midwesterner through and through. Jennifer attended Kent State University and holds a BS in Geology (minors in Climatology and Geography) and a MA and PhD in Geography. She loves learning about the world around her and seeing how powerful nature can be. All of this would mean nothing if she didn’t get the chance to share her wonderment with others. That is why she enjoys being a college professor. Recently, she has taken her love of teaching and has poured that into more creative projects. She is developing a book to introduce children to the wonderful world of rocks and minerals through a fairy fantasy world. She has also found her voice in writing, which started out as personal cathartic musings. Now though, she has taken those musings and turned them into this book so they can be shared with anyone who needs comfort and someone to lean on. It is her way of being able to share advice and empathy from the hard-earned lessons she has gained from her own healing journey.
