Dawna Jean Smith has a unique writing style. Dawna grew up in a military family who moved quite a bit in her childhood across the United States. Dawna found that writing poetry as a young child helped her to cope with the unpredictability of her upbringing. Dawna enjoys living with her pet Shiba Inu Chi named Opal.
