Curse of Her

BOOM! My feet land heavily on the ground and now my knees hurt a little. I was going to break the landing with a roll but I'm not so good at that. And besides, there's sharp rocks and pointy sticks that would tear my clothes up. THEN where would my excuse of where I'd been be? Oh, sorry Mum and Dad. Just looking for that wild boar I saw the other night. We ended up in a man-pig tackle, would you believe it? No. They WOULDN'T believe it. Stupid Kota. Stupid train of thought. I'm going to find that girl, I just KNOW she's out here. I can hear one of the passangers on the train talking about it. But I'm too afraid to go and ask them. I don't know them, even if they are on my train. "It's a good thing I keep my shoes in my room." I tell myself, looking down at all the rocks with my phone light. They look like they were all eroded specifically to be made into weapons. So many sharp edges they almost just looked like many-edged knives. One touch and I think I'll get sliced. But surely they can't last throughout the entire forest. After all, the area near the school was pretty free of rocks, just thick shrubbery that I couldn't get through without knocking down some poor innocent girl that all the students apparently wanted me to find. So THAT'S why they wanted me to play. Let the newbie check it out, who cares if HE gets bad luck. Wait- bad luck! That's the consequence of seeing the girl! That's the curse! Could it be? The homework? The toothpaste? My trip on the stairs? Hah. That's the funniest joke YOU'VE ever made, Kota. As if. I may believe in alot of urban legends, but, "This is not one of them.
