“Self doubt shows up at times when one is stepping into themselves of the unknown, yet to be discovered. I asked the guides: Why does self-doubt occur? Human consciousness is always evolving and so is the awareness of self and the relationship with the self. As one begins to emerge into a bigger scale of self, doubt is natural. When we enter a new territory of self, the new self is not yet familiar to us and that creates self-doubt about the unknown. Self-doubt brings a deep knowingness of self, which creates what is known to us, resulting in a precise dimension where there’s a sense of “I am self and I am here.” An acknowledgment of the self is to own that part of yourself and create a stronger presence of self in that area. Self-doubt may appear more when a new dimension of self shows up to emerge into and become. In the process growth brings about self-doubt, which is natural and can be honored as a new life coming into earth, as though a child from a mother. When growth is honored, there is more self-compassion, gentleness, and ease in the knowledge that your unknown territory is safe, even if it’s not understood yet. As understanding takes place, there will be another phase of growth, and another after that. With growth comes understanding and this is often a continual process. When tested in self-achievement, self-doubt will usually be the first emotion to overcome. Quelling self-doubt is a phase to go through to birth trust and cultivates a sureness of self that creates the results you want in life. Self-trust can help to rise above self-doubt and that alone will allow you to rise from self-doubt to understanding than any emotion in the first step toward new unknown creation of any sort. Self-trust is the power to harness positive thought by tuning in and believing what is possible, even in times of self-doubt. In a state of self-doubt, you will usually feel a tightness in the body: an intense feeling that the body gives due to the fear of letting go. In a state of self-trust, you become something bigger and more expanded into. The bigger the self-doubt, the more intense the first step of surrender will be, as one becomes more present with what thoughts create the intense feelings in the body. From there, more realization can take place on how to transmit to the opposite of these thoughts.
