Introducing Lizzy Loquacious Hello my name is Lizzy L; I like to use this name to make it easier for my friends. The L comes from the word Loquacious, a big word that simply means that I do like to talk ALOT...but I think that it’s okay, as people need to say how they feel, or share their ideas and desires. I have many times to share stuff and people are always friendly to me...I think that it’s because I smile a lot... this gives me much joy. I often find myself chatting to people everywhere I go, especially at the shops. Just a short time ago, I had an interesting time in a not so nice time lined up in a very big cue. During this time I had to practice patience and also enjoyed talking to people. Even though Covid has been a tough time, I’ve found that it has opened chances to connect with people within my community, which makes me feel really happy. I had such a nice time it made me think that out of hard times things can be good.

About the Book
She writes from her own experiences growing up, and many of the characters in the book are actually real which gives the story authenticity. Lizzy being loquacious in her character likes to be very expressive in many ways. The themes of the book cover areas such as free expression, creativity, learning how to cook and learning about the awareness of nutrition.
About the Author
Katrina McLean has been a Qualified Early Childhood Educator for over 30 years. During this time she has observed children’s behaviors and characteristics. Katrina is very passionate with teaching through music, art and dance, but mostly story telling. In her stories she likes to create a vibrant and inspiring experience that has a strong influence on educational aspects of learning based on the ‘Early Years Learning Framework’
