Never the Same Again

After my arrival in United Kingdom in 1992, the first miracle I experienced happened to my host. She had been married for four years without conceiving a child. Being a believer, I took her through the promises of God regarding child bearing in the Bible: “So, you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfil the number of your days.” (Exodus 23:25–26 NKJV) We stood on the word of God with fasting and prayers for a couple of weeks. Then, three weeks later, she conceived; she gave birth to a bouncy baby boy. She later had two more children; all of them have graduated, two with master’s degrees. Another time, a neighbour’s husband had threatened to divorce his wife because she was giving birth to only girls; she desperately wanted a boy to save her marriage. Again, we went into prayer and fasting, and again, standing on the word of God; ‘’But the desire of the righteous shall be granted’’ (Proverbs 10:24B KJV) About three months later, she conceived, and later had a baby boy, who is in his last year, studying at the university. She also brought two other women who had similar challenges. They also had a boy each and their marriages were restored, at least for that period. The God who made the heaven and the earth is so powerful that, having created the universe, there is nothing too hard for Him to do. Over these many years, I have witnessed mind-blowing miracles in people’s lives that He performed through his Son Jesus, that only He could have done. The Bible says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how He went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with Him” (Acts 10:38 NIV).
