Reprogramming Your Subconscious: When meditating you will arrive at a place in your consciousness where you will come in contact with your own bliss. When you reach this blissful state, you will have no thoughts, no internal chatter, and no agendas – you will just experience your true self in your subconscious realm.
Anytime you are thinking, you are operating in the conscious realm. What I am asking you to do is to go to the place where these two meet. From this place, you can do immensely important work.
If you are searching for understanding or want to manifest a certain outcome, form your exploratory question or a specific outcome you wish to manifest and keep it in your conscious mind, but put it to the side momentarily. Using the meditative techniques already mentioned, go to your Spiritual Center. Now ask your question or state your creative intention and just let it be. After a short while, you can repeat this again. You are not looking for answers at this point; you just want to insert your question or intention into your subconscious mind.
By activating your subconscious in this way, you will generate the answers or outcomes shortly. The results will come to you in a variety of ways, either serendipitously when you least expect it, or will be made obvious during further contemplation, or appear symbolically in your dreams.
Once you have determined the correction you want to make, decide what new self-images you want to implant into your subconscious. Next, create your specific mantra or intention that will override these incorrect images that you want to replace. Then go to your Spiritual Center by meditating and become connected to the deepest part of your own true being.
You might create a mantra to bring about a new opportunity or specific event you want to manifest in the near future. This could be a new job that is more rewarding, finding the perfect mate so you can have the relationship you've always wanted, finding the perfect new home, or whatever you feel will be the next best step for you on your path towards happiness.
By going into your Spiritual Center (your subconscious mind) and then stating your intention (which is retrieved from your conscious mind), you are in the place where your subconscious mind and conscious mind meet and exchange information. You are transitioning into the conscious realm just long enough to retrieve your intention, and then carrying it into your subconscious and putting it out there for the collective unconscious to process, and for your subconscious to assimilate.
The entire energetic universe is a compilation of All that is, and you are now interconnected and communicating with it. You are now cocreating and bringing new things into your life. You are now in the realm of creation and it is you, that is in fact, doing the creating.
In your personal subconscious, this new picture or intention will beneficially override and replace the old, detrimental one. Whatever affirmation you choose, be it to improve something about your internal picture, forgiving others so you can move on and create, or for accepting past events for what they truly were, transitioning it from your conscious mind to your subconscious mind is the most powerful action you can take to manifest a new future. In addition, by communicating it to the Collective Subconscious, you have the power of the universe working for you. When I talked earlier of manifesting things that at one time seemed practically impossible, this is where they come from.
Once you have implanted the new image into your subconscious, see, hear, and feel how your life will be when these benefits are realized. You can do this in a brief and subtle way during your meditation, but stay mostly in your subconscious by not thinking and transition to the conscious realm in only short, brief excursions. Again, thinking activates the conscious mind and meditation activates the subconscious mind. So don't think too much while you are in your meditative state. Enjoy the bliss and insert your intention selectively.
Being in the future you want to create and living it now, even if it's just for a few moments here and there, builds and strengthens the picture you just inserted into your subconscious. You can do this throughout the day whenever an opportunity to do so presents itself. Live your life as though you are well on your way to achieving the future you want to manifest – see it, hear it, feel it, and be it.
You will need to do this practice on several occasions until the transition to the new you has been realized. Deeply rooted concepts will take longer than shorter ones. Things that you have held for years or decades may take months to replace. Longer and more frequent meditations will result in transitions coming sooner, so be patient and experience the transitions as they come.
During each practice, repeat your mantra with sincerity as many times as you feel necessary. Stay in this place of creation and dismiss the old picture just once, then affirm and reaffirm the new creation. Every time you think about the old, you give it power and let its grip on you live to see another day. The correct process is to disavow the old just once, then overwhelmingly empower the new and you do this by recognizing it as the only possible truth – there is no other.
After reciting your mantra appropriately, add this to your affirmation: “I and the Universe are one. I am connected to All, and All is connected to me. Show me the path that I should be on, and I will show you I have the courage to follow it.”
You have now made a pact with the Universe. It will give you the direction you should travel, and you have agreed to use your courage to accomplish that which you desire.
