About the Author

Gwendolyn (Gwen) LaVerne Roberts was born in 1946 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is firstborn of loving parents JC and Lillian Roberts. She and her siblings, Carolyn Sandra Roberts-James, Malcolm Dean Roberts, and James Charles Roberts enjoyed a normal happy childhood provided by their parents and extended family members. After graduating College, Gwen relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she began to focus on the development of her spirituality. Her Church at that time focused on one’s spirituality and Truth principles. This sparked Gwen interest to dig deep into the philosophy of many spiritual giants. As an enthusiastic student of Truth, Gwen was asked by her minister to teach many of their Truth classes. After thirteen years in Atlanta, Gwen returned to Charlotte where she founded The Truth Institute, Inc. where she continued her teachings and as a Spiritual Life Coach. Over the past 50 years, Gwen has touched the lives of many in her various entrepreneurial endeavors as a Human Service Counselor and Administrator, Life Coach and Real Estate Broker and Investor. Gwen is the proud mother of her son Brandon King Roberts. Brandon is a continuous inspiration to her as he shares his Truths to her and many others in the world.
