About the Book
DEEPLY SLEEPLESS is a collection of 75 poems--Some short; some long. Some love; some loss. Some grief; some joy--all written at the behest of a profound sleeplessness which has plagued Beverly Van Pelt most of her life. Despite this hindrance, the prevailing feeling of love and positivity shines through. These poems have been collected from various sources over 35 years of writing, some published here for the very first time.

About the Author
Beverly Van Pelt is a poet and artist, actor and director, past Creative Director of the Big Sur Fashion Show as well as The Gothic Gourmet online personality. A resident of Seaside, California, her poetry and short-form writing often taking on the topics of love and sleeplessness. Beverly is a post-punk wife and mother, and endures four very dramatic cats.
