Jesus Christ intended to switch mankind’s attention to the “Tree of Life” principles. He also attempted to “teach us how to fish” rather than to “give us a fish.” Tradition says he came to “give us salvation” yet that would literally put mankind in the category of “being on the dole” -- something current, inconsistent “Christians” seem to loathe. Spiritual maturity is the result of our personally practicing the higher, “meat” level principles that Jesus Christ taught and modeled.
